IDMS® (Instructional Data Management System™) Overview
The IDMS application is a Web-based application that helps K-12 educators
create and administer tests and manage and use data to inform instructional
practices, improve student achievement and optimize learning results.
Using ETS Item Bank questions, the IDMS Test Builder module can create
standards-based assessments paced to your curriculum.
Online test management and scoring options give educators the flexibility to
administer and score tests online, or using plain paper. They can then drill
down into the data to produce meaningful, actionable reports.
The IDMS application supports a standards-based instructional approach that
brings data directly to the desktop computers of classroom teachers and school
leaders. It allows educators to pace instruction, align materials to state
standards over the school year, create formative assessments and generate
district, school, class and student reports that are meaningful, actionable, and
easy to use.

Read what the superintendent at the Clark County School District in Nevada
says about the IDMS Application:
"In addition to its benefits for classroom instruction,
the IDMS application allows district administrators to use assessment data in
their jobs. Before, we were not able to look at our subgroup populations and
know specifically how they were performing, but now we can. We can see how
schools are performing during the year, and not just at the time of a
high-stakes test. And, we can use the data to help our principals compare their
schools to others."
